Standardized Testing Rater, Educational Testing Service

December 2015 - current

I am currently working as an online standardized test rater for Educational Testing Service. I was hired in December of 2015 and then again in March of 2016 to rate the Texas STAAR standardized test. My duties include assessing students' short answer responses for the following: the use of evidence and a deeper understanding of the text (beyond a literal reading).

February 2015 - May 2016

I was the Graduate Assistant at Special Collections in the Ina Dillard Russell Library in Georgia College and State University, Milledgeville, Georgia for three semesters. My duties included assisting students, faculty, and other researchers to find materials they are searching for, archiving and cataloguing collections, organizing collections, and so on. Our Special Collections is most known for the Flannery O'Connor collection, including many of the author's manuscripts and letters and her own personal library.

 

 

Front of House Manager, Amici Food Group

​July 2012 - November 2015

I was hired at Amici Milledgeville in July 2012 and worked for Amici until November of 2015, but I was the Front of House Manager from 2014 to 2015. My duties included making the schedules for the front of house staff, ensuring the employees were both on time and efficient in their own duties, ensuring customer satisfaction during every shift, etc. I handled most of the social media for Amici during this year as well.

I was hired as a Peer Writing Consultant through the Writing Center at Georgia College. My duties included editing the papers of both undergraduate and graduate students per their request. I edited for grammar, content, continuity, and organization.
